Cattle in Cyprus are of the Holstein-Friesian breed and all hides are machine flayed. They produce good quality light leathers and are generally free from defects. As cattle is slaughtered early on in their life, they give a very good grain and are mainly used for shoe uppers with some hides suitable for furniture leather. Click here for more details... |
